New Mexico High School Baseball - Rio Rancho edges Volcano Vista

In Tuesday's league game, the host Rio Rancho Rams baseball team scored a close 3-0 win over the Volcano Vista Hawks.
The Rams (17-5) will now prepare for their game against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars go into the 5A District 1 game with a 14-9 record. In their last game, Cibola by Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 3-2, in a league game.
Next, the Hawks play the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a 5A District 1 game, on Friday, April 25. Volcano Vista will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record. The Scorpions go into the game with a 15-7 record after their 18-7 league win over Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM).
