The South Aiken Thoroughbreds soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Midland Valley Mustangs to 1 in the Thoroughbreds league victory on Tuesday.
The Thoroughbreds now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Aiken for a bout on Thursday, April 24. South Aiken will play a Fighting Green Hornets squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The Fighting Green Hornets record now stands at 0-12.
With the loss, Midland Valley moves to 5-5 on the year. The Mustangs host North Augusta (North Augusta, SC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a bout on Friday, April 25. The Yellow Jackets go into the test with a record of 14-1. North Augusta won 11-0 in their recent league test against Aiken (Aiken, SC)
