North Carolina High School Lacrosse - New Hanover overwhelms Ashley

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting New Hanover Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 16-9 win over the Ashley Screaming Eagle.

The Wildcats (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers go into the Mideastern outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Laney was overwhelmed by Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 21-14, in a league outing.

With the loss, Ashley falls to 4-8 on the year. The Screaming eagle host Hoggard (Wilmington, NC) to face the Vikings in a Mideastern outing on Thursday, April 24. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 11-3. Hoggard won 21-14 in their recent league outing against Laney (Wilmington, NC)
