In Tuesday's league challenge, the host East Greenwich Avengers lacrosse squad scored a tight 18-11 triumph over the Barrington Eagles.

The Avengers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams go into the Division 1 challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, La Salle Academy held off Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 10-9, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles clash with the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a Division 1 challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Barrington will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Skippers go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 22-5 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI).
