Colorado High School Lacrosse - Montrose drops to Grand Junction

The Grand Junction Tigers triumphed over the host Montrose Red Hawks lacrosse team by a tally of 14-5 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Tigers play the Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 25. Grand Junction will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Blue Griffins come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 11-6 non-league win over Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO).

The Red Hawks (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO). The Wildcats come into the 4A Mountain West game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Fruita Monument was overwhelmed by Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO), 13-7, in a non-league game.
