Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) and the visiting Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), saw Dixon's soccer squad hold off Topsail by a score of 3-2.

The Bulldogs (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Richlands (Richlands, NC). The Wildcats enter the Coastal 3A battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Richlands was edged by J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC), 8-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Pirates confront the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 25. Topsail will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 9-2 record after their 8-0 league win over Sanderson (Raleigh, NC).
