The Broadway Gobblers overwhelmed the host East Rockingham Eagles softball squad by a count of 11-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Gobblers meet the William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 25. Broadway will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Dragons go into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 17-2 non-league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA).

The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights go into the non-league challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Turner Ashby held off Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 18-1, in a non-league challenge.
