In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Parry McCluer Fighting Blues softball team scored a tight 13-12 victory over the Highland Rams.
The Fighting Blues (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Narrows (Narrows, VA). The Green Waves go into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Narrows tipped Craig County (New Castle, VA), 13-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 28. Highland will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Chargers go into the match with a 2-7 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA).
