Virginia High School Softball - William Byrd bounces Staunton River

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host William Byrd Terriers softball team scored a nice 11-2 victory over the Staunton River Golden Eagles.
The Terriers (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 28. Staunton River will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles go into the match with a 10-3 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
