In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Portage Central Mustangs lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-10 triumph over the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants.

The Mustangs (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson (Jackson, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Jackson was nipped by Chelsea (Chelsea, MI), 13-10, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Maroon Giants meet the Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 24. Kalamazoo Central will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 16-2 non-league win over Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI).
