In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Christian Brothers Purple Wave soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles.
The Purple Wave (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN). The Saints go into the D II-AA West outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Briarcrest Christian by Memphis University School (Memphis, TN), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Memphis University School Owls (Memphis, TN) in a D II-AA West outing, on Thursday, April 24. St. Benedict at Auburndale will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Owls go into the outing with a 5-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN).
