The Wasatch Wasps soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Maple Mountain Golden Eagles to 0 in the Wasps league victory on Tuesday.
The Wasps now hold a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Park City for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 24. Wasatch will play a Miners squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Layton Christian Academy (Layton, UT). The Miners record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Maple Mountain moves to 7-6 on the year. The Golden eagles host Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT) to play the Dons in a 5A Region 7 bout on Thursday, April 24. The Dons go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Spanish Fork won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Salem Hills (Salem, UT)
