Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Traverse City West Titans (Traverse City, MI), 9-7 in a league game.
With the triumph, Alpena upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Negaunee (Negaunee, MI) to play the Miners in a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. The Miners enter the game with a record of 1-6.
The Titans now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Sault Area for a non-league game on Thursday, April 24. Traverse City West will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 20-5 non-league loss to Marquette (Marquette, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-4.
