Illinois High School Softball - Polo gets by Amboy

April 22, 2025: Polo, IL 61064

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) and the visiting Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL), observed Polo's softball team get by Amboy by a tally of 8-7.

The Marcos (1-10) will now prepare for their bout against East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, East Dubuque tipped Warren/Stockton (Warren, IL), 13-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Clippers clash with the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) in a NUIC South bout, on Thursday, April 24. Amboy will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Marcos go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL).
