Illinois High School Softball - Argo edges Evergreen Park

The Argo Argonauts softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Evergreen Park Mustangs to 3 in the Argonauts league win on Tuesday.
The Argonauts now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillcrest for a South Suburban battle on Thursday, April 24. Argo will confront a Hawks team coming off a 15-2 league loss to Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Evergreen Park moves to 9-8 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL) to confront the Bengals in a South Suburban battle on Thursday, April 24. The Bengals come into the battle with a record of 8-7. Oak Forest lost 9-0 in their recent non-league battle against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)
