Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Parkview Patriots (Little Rock, AR), 15-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Benton improves its record to 18-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Sylvan Hills (Sherwood, AR) to play the Bears in a 5A Central game on Tuesday, April 29. The Bears enter the game with a record of 14-6.

The Patriots now hold a 6-15 record. They play next when they host Concord for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 23. Parkview will play a Pirates squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Viola (Viola, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 14-7.
