The Roswell Coyotes overwhelmed the host Clovis Wildcats softball squad by a count of 20-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Coyotes meet the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) in a 5A District 4 challenge, on Friday, April 25. Roswell will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 10-5 league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM).
The Wildcats (1-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls go into the 5A District 4 challenge with a 14-6 record. In their last challenge, Carlsbad toppled Hobbs (Hobbs, NM), 10-5, in a league challenge.
