Connecticut High School Softball - North Branford bounces Cromwell

The North Branford Thunderbirds softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Cromwell Panthers to 0 in the Thunderbirds league win on Tuesday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portland for a Shoreline - Large battle on Wednesday, April 23. North Branford will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 13-0 league loss to Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Cromwell moves to 3-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT) to confront the Blue Devils in a Shoreline - Large battle on Wednesday, April 23. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a record of 5-3. Coginchaug Regional won 18-2 in their recent league battle against Morgan (Clinton, CT)
