The Davie War Eagles softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Parkland Mustangs to 2 in the War Eagles league win on Tuesday.

The War Eagles now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenn for a Central Piedmont 4A battle on Wednesday, April 23. Davie will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-10.

With the loss, Parkland moves to 10-11 on the season. The Mustangs host Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Spartans in a Central Piedmont 4A battle on Thursday, April 24. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 4-10. Mount Tabor lost 12-1 in their recent league battle against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC)
