The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Durand Bulldogs (Durand, IL) and the host Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL), observed Durand's softball team notch a victory over Forreston by a final score of 11-1.

The Bulldogs (7-5) will now prepare for their bout against Orangeville (Orangeville, IL). The Broncos go into the NUIC East bout with a 13-4 record. In their last bout, Orangeville gained a win over Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL), 2-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Hiawatha Hawks (Kirkland, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 23. Forreston will attempt to better on its 2-15 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 17-2 league loss to Somonauk (Somonauk, IL).
