The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 12-0 league loss to Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC).

The Wolverines (0-15) will now prepare for their challenge against E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Golden Bulls enter the All American 3A/4A challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, E.E. Smith overcame Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 19-13, in a league challenge.
