The Ephrata Tigers edged the host Othello Huskies softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Quincy Jackrabbits (Quincy, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Ephrata will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Jackrabbits enter the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Toppenish (Toppenish, WA).
The Huskies (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Selah (Selah, WA). The Vikings enter the 2A CWAC challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Selah edged East Valley (Yakima, WA), 12-10, in a league challenge.
