North Carolina High School Softball - Hickory Grove Christian succumbs to Gaston Christian

In Tuesday's league test, the Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC), by a tally of 12-2.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Charlotte Latin Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 25. Gaston Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 6-2 league loss to Covenant Day (Matthews, NC).
The Lions (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Concord Academy (Concord, NC). The Eagles enter the NICSAA Metrolina challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Concord Academy was routed by SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC), 11-2, in a league challenge.
