Tennessee High School Softball - Milan held off by Gibson County

April 22, 2025: Dyer, TN 38330

In Tuesday's league test, the Gibson County Pioneers (Dyer, TN) softball squad got by the visiting Milan Bulldogs (Milan, TN), by a tally of 3-2.

Next, the Pioneers clash with the Westview Chargers (Martin, TN) in a 2A District 14 test, on Thursday, April 24. Gibson County will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Chargers go into the test with a 9-5 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Brighton (Brighton, TN).

The Bulldogs (18-6) will now prepare for their test against Peabody (Trenton, TN). The Golden Tide go into the 2A District 14 test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Peabody held off Bradford (Bradford, TN), 17-0, in a non-league test.
