In Tuesday's league test, the Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) softball squad the visiting Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM), by a tally of 8-6.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Portales Rams (Portales, NM) in a 4A District 4 test, on Friday, April 25. Lovington will attempt to advance on its 15-6 season record. The Rams go into the test with a 9-12 record after their 9-0 league loss to Artesia (Artesia, NM).
