The Valley Vikings softball squad (New Kensington, PA), was routed 19-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Greensburg Salem Golden Lions (Greensburg, PA)

With the triumph, Greensburg Salem improves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Golden Lions travel to Derry (Derry, PA) to face the Trojans in a WPIAL 4A 1 contest on Friday, April 25. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 4-2. Derry won 18-2 in their recent league contest against Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA)

The Vikings now hold a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Indiana for a WPIAL 4A 1 contest on Wednesday, April 23. Valley will face a Little Indians squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Freeport (Freeport, PA). The Little Indians record now stands at 4-8.
