Illinois High School Softball - Herscher bounces Reed-Custer

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) and the visiting Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), observed Herscher's softball team get by Reed-Custer by a tally of 9-4.

The Tigers (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Morris (Morris, IL). The Redskins go into the non-league bout with a 14-4 record. In their last bout, Morris tipped Serena (Serena, IL), 10-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers (Gardner, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 25. Reed-Custer will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 6-0 league win over Clifton Central (Clifton, IL).
