The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY) and the host Prestonsburg Blackcats (Prestonsburg, KY), observed Magoffin County's softball team get by Prestonsburg by a tally of 16-10.

The Hornets (4-8) will now prepare for their bout against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Floyd Central tipped Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY), 10-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Blackcats clash with the Betsy Layne Bobcats (Betsy Layne, KY) in a District 58 bout, on Thursday, April 24. Prestonsburg will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 10-2 league loss to Floyd Central (Eastern, KY).
