The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI) and the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI), observed Marquette's softball team prevail over Sault Area by a tally of 20-5.

The Redmen (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Superior Central (Eben Junction, MI). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Superior Central was routed by Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI), 9-8, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Traverse City West Titans (Traverse City, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 24. Sault Area will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 9-7 league loss to Alpena (Alpena, MI).
