The South Plainfield Tigers overwhelmed the host Metuchen Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 13-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) in a GMC - Red challenge, on Thursday, April 24. South Plainfield will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ).
The Bulldogs (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ). The Falcons go into the non-league challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Monroe Township was routed by Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ), 10-1, in a league challenge.
