The Millry Wildcats softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Washington County Bulldogs to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now possess a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fruitdale for a non-league battle on Friday, April 25. Millry will confront a Pirates team coming off a 20-10 non-league loss to Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 6-17.
With the loss, Washington County moves to 12-15 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Thomasville (Thomasville, AL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 24. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 26-9. Thomasville won 9-6 in their recent non-league battle against Demopolis (Demopolis, AL)
