Minnesota High School Softball - Montevideo held off by West Central Area

The West Central Area Knights got by the host Montevideo Thunderhawks softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the Brandon/Evansville Chargers (Brandon, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 25. West Central Area will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Chargers go into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Upsala (Upsala, MN).

The Thunderhawks (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta held off B O L D (Olivia, MN), 5-0, in a non-league challenge.
