The Seymour Owls triumphed over the host New Albany Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 8-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Owls play the Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN) in a Hoosier Hills challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Olympians enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Columbus North (Columbus, IN).

The Bulldogs (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Bloomington North was routed by Terre Haute North Vigo (Terre Haute, IN), 10-5, in a league challenge.
