In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Northwest Mustangs softball team scored a nice 21-1 win over the Smithton Tigers.

The Mustangs (14-3) will now prepare for their match against Green Ridge (Green Ridge, MO). The Tigers come into the Class 1 District 7 match with a 8-7 record. In their last match, Green Ridge notched a victory over Leeton (Leeton, MO), 11-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Stover Bulldogs (Stover, MO) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 24. Smithton will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 4-5 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, MO).
