The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Springport Spartans (Springport, MI) and the host Reading Rangers (Reading, MI), observed Springport's softball team get by Reading by a tally of 6-4.

The Spartans (8-0) will now prepare for their bout against Union City (Union City, MI). The Chargers go into the Big 8 bout with a 3-1 record.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Maple Valley Lions (Vermontville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 29. Reading will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
