The Sayville Golden Flashes softball team scored 22 runs and held the host Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats to 7 in the Golden Flashes league win on Tuesday.

The Golden Flashes now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampton Bays for a Section 11 A-6 battle on Thursday, April 24. Sayville will confront a Baymen team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Bellport (Brookhaven, NY). The Baymen record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Shoreham-Wading River moves to 0-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Islip (Islip, NY) to confront the Buccaneers in a Section 11 A-6 battle on Thursday, April 24. The Buccaneers come into the battle with a record of 5-5. Islip won 4-1 in their recent league battle against Kings Park (Kings Park, NY)
