The Melvindale Cardinals (Melvindale, MI) baseball trounced the visiting Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI), 11-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarenceville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 23. Melvindale will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 9-7 league win over Southfield Christian (Southfield, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 1-5.

With the defeat, Thurston drops to 5-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Lutheran (Westland, MI) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 25.
