New York High School Baseball - Plattsburgh edges Peru

April 22, 2026: Plattsburgh, NY 12901

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY) and the visiting Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY), saw Plattsburgh's baseball team gain a win over Peru by a tally of 3-1.

The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY). The Red Storm enter the Section 7 Champlain Valley I battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Saranac Lake by Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY), 6-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Nighthawks face the Northern Adirondack Bobcats (Ellenburg Depot, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I battle, on Friday, April 24. Peru will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 20-8 league loss to Moriah (Port Henry, NY).
