West Virginia High School Baseball - Shady Spring sneaks past Princeton

April 22, 2026: Shady Spring, WV 25918

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) and the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV), saw Shady Spring's baseball team get by Princeton by a tally of 6-5.

The Tigers (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Red Devils enter the non-league battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Oak Hill was tipped by Nicholas County (Summersville, WV), 12-8, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 24. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record.
