In Wednesday's league game, the host Dixie Flyers baseball team scored a close 7-2 win over the Pine View Panthers.
The Flyers (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Hurricane (Hurricane, UT). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Hurricane nudged Canyon View (Cedar City, UT), 4-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs (Washington, UT) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 24. Pine View will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 12-7 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to Snow Canyon (St. George, UT).
