Maryland High School Softball - Chopticon bounces Northern

In Wednesday's league match, the host Chopticon Braves softball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Northern Patriots.
The Braves (15-1) will now prepare for their match against La Plata (La Plata, MD). The Warriors come into the Southern Maryland match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, La Plata notched a victory over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 12-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland match, on Thursday, April 23. Northern will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record.
