The Andrean Fighting 59ers baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Kankakee Valley Kougars to 1 in the Fighting 59ers league victory on Friday.
The Fighting 59ers (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Lowell (Lowell, IN). The Red Devils go into the Northwest Crossroads match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Lowell was overwhelmed by Griffith (Griffith, IN), 8-7, in a non-league match.
The Kougars (6-8) will now prepare for their match against Munster (Munster, IN). The Mustangs come into the Northwest Crossroads challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Munster nipped Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN), 14-2, in a non-league challenge.
