In Friday's non-league game, the host Chester Volcanoes baseball team scored a nice 13-0 victory over the Burney Raiders.
The Volcanoes (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Loyalton (Loyalton, CA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Loyalton overcame Portola (Portola, CA), 16-7, in a non-league game.
The Raiders (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Trinity (Weaverville, CA). The Wolves go into the non-league game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, Trinity was overwhelmed by Modoc (Alturas, CA), 6-1, in a league game.
