The Shiprock Chieftains baseball team (Shiprock, NM), was overwhelmed 13-0 in Saturday's league outing with the visiting Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM)
The Tigers now hold a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kirtland Central for a 4A District 1 outing on Tuesday, April 26. Aztec will confront a Broncos team coming off a 6-3 league loss to Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Broncos record now stands at 12-11.
Next, the Chieftains confront the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) in a 4A District 1 outing, on Tuesday, April 26. Shiprock will attempt to advance on its 11-10 season record. The Bengals go into the outing with a 5-14 record after their 8-4 league loss to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM).
