The Clayton Yellowjackets baseball team (Clayton, NM), was overwhelmed 23-4 in Saturday's league outing with the host Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM)

The Wolverines now hold a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eunice for a non-league outing on Monday, April 25. Texico will face a Cardinals team coming off a 17-8 league win over Loving (Loving, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 18-1.

Next, the Yellowjackets face the Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) in a 2A District 6 outing, on Tuesday, May 3. Clayton will attempt to advance on its 1-13 season record.
