In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Springfield Senators baseball team scored a tight 15-11 victory over the East Peoria Raiders.
The Senators (13-6) will now prepare for their game against Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL). The Spartans go into the Central State Eight game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, Springfield Southeast was overwhelmed by Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL), 6-4, in a non-league game.
The Raiders (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Eagles go into the Mid-Illini game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Dunlap was overwhelmed by Eureka (Eureka, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
