The New London Whalers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Montville Indians to 3 in the Whalers league victory on Saturday.
The Whalers (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Lancers go into the Eastern Connecticut - South match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Waterford edged North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 10-3, in a non-league match.
The Indians (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Norwich RVT edged Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT), 4-3, in a non-league match.
