Maine High School Baseball - Sacopee Valley gets by Richmond

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) and the host Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME), saw Sacopee Valley's baseball squad knock off Richmond by a count of 5-3.

Coming up next, the Hawks play the Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME) in a Class C South battle, on Tuesday, April 26. Sacopee Valley will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Rangers enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Mount View (Thorndike, ME).

The Bobcats now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Old Orchard Beach for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 26. Richmond will play a Seagulls squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME). The Seagulls record now stands at 1-1.
