In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting University Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Birmingham Patriots.
The Wildcats (32-11) will now prepare for their battle against Marshall (Los Angeles, CA). The Barristers come into the non-league battle with a 22-11 record. In their last battle, Marshall lost by Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Patriots clash with the Mendez Jaguars (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 23. Birmingham will attempt to advance on its 12-15 season record. The Jaguars come into the battle with a 18-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Bernstein (Hollywood, CA).
