The Plainfield East Bengals held off the host Lincoln-Way West Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bengals now have a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oswego for a Suburban Prarie test on Tuesday, April 26. Plainfield East will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 15-3.

The Warriors (14-9) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Knights enter the Southwest Suburban test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, Lincoln-Way Central held off Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
